Sandy Mariano ...I just recieved the tapestrey Cpt. Moroni flag for my Birthday! What a beautiful surprise for me! My very dear freind is serving in Iraq right now, and he knows how much I love this scripture. I showed him a picture of one of the soldiers in Iraq, that had written it on the side of his tank. My friend told me that he misses his Capt. Moroni picture he left at home, and that he has needed it several times on a few particulary hard days. Sending this to me was his way of symbolicaly protecting me here. Thank you so much for making such a beautiful tapestrey to have in my home. It is fabulous quality! I will now be ordering one for him to have in Iraq. He tells me of how he is trying to teach the Iraqi soldiers integrity, and a love for their women and children, their freedom and love of God. This has been a great opportunity for him for he is part of that great group of warriors in the last day. I would like the 3/5 flag budget flag, printed on one side. Is is possible to have it shipped today as the funeral is Friday? I wanted to thank you for the flag for my husbands funeral. It was so generous of you. It looked beautiful and was so perfect to have. It was all my husband stood for. Many people admired it and wrote the words down as we had alot who were not LDS come. My husband was a Poilceman and many came from all over to pay their respects and were touched by your flag. I appriciated you sending it to me. Sincerly, Belinda Wire...I just want you to know I love my flag! We are serving a mission in Africa where sometimes the language is a bit of a barrier but the visual image crosses that barrier and as this flag is raised and used in the Outreach program for youth 18-30 the light shines in their countence, as our minds fly together to those pages of the Book Of Mormon that inspire us to Stand for Truth and Rightousness. Thank You Kathy your efforts touch our hearts and lift our spirits, Love Belinda Kathie Poulson... I'm so glad you put this site up. Ever since I moved here to Colorado 5 yrs. ago I have felt impressed to make the same flag. I've been trying with my limited experience to make a pattern for counted cross stitch of a large flag to hang in my home. But I couldn't find any one to help. I don't suppose you are planning to make patterns for counted cross stitch for small medium & large flags? If you do I sure would be the first in line to get it. I am going to purchase the Budget "Standard" today & I am so looking forward to flying it proudly. Craig Shiman Tulare, California...Thanks for the inspiring story. Can I please share a story that happen to me when I shared the the story of the title of liberty at a cub scout pack meeting. Let me set the stage first. Me sweet wife had enrolled my son in the cub pack sponserd by the kinghts of columbus at St. Ritas Cathlic church to give him a head start and then was going to move him into the our ward pack when he turn 8. But I got chosen to be the cubmaster in pack, who would figure and stayed the whole time. Okay now it is my first pack meeting as the new cubmaster and there were about 60 cubs and about 120 other family memebrs here at the pack meeting. I deeply wanted to close the meeting with something special and meaningful. So at first I remembered the Totoms/Flags the Indians used and thought I would make one and award it to the den with the most spirit that night and then it would be reawarded to the best spirited den at each monthly pack meeting and each den would have to add a small token to it before they passed it on. So when I started to make it I took one of my old white tee shirts and striched it around the pole and frame and then the thought of the Title of Liberty came to mind and how we were both using shirts. Now this is the great part. The meeting went very well. Lots of awards, songs, jokes and fun. So now I asked all the cubs to come up front and set on the floor with me like we were at a great councle fire and started to tell the story of the title of liberty. I didn't share any names but just told of two great tribes on this very land many years ago and one great general and how he ripped of his coat and wrote on it For our God, For our Families and For our Nation. My wife looked like she was going to pass out thinking OK you blow it now telling BOM stories in a cathlic pack. But the whole room was completely quite except for me the first time all night and when I was telling how Moroni ride with the title through out the land to get great and brave man to do what is right just like you cubs are learning to do what is right you could have heard a pin drop. So when I paussed at the end before awarding the flag you could imagin everyones focus was wholy on who it was going to be the first to get the title of liberty and than when I called up the youngest den to award it to them everyone stood to an ovation for then and I am not joking some of the boys who won and their parents were in tears. That was 6 years ago and I have move up with my son into boy scouts in our ward troop and year ago. But the title of liberty is still a vital part of every pack meeting for the St. Ritas cathlic churchs Cub Pack 267. One last note a year after I was made cubmaster a in active part member LDS family joined the pack and 6 months ago the Father babtised his wife and 9 year old twins and he and his family are fully active members again. I will be ordering your tapistry soon, ( Both me and my wife are self-employed and have to budget a little more know days) and will proudly display it next to out Moroni praying picture. Thank you, Keep fighting for the right and please my our Father bless you and your family. MarLeah Hailstone...Congratulations. I grew up in Kanab until 1946 when my family moved to Salem, Utah. My father was Woodruff Rust and my mother, Isabelle. I was wondering if there is somewhere I could purchase items because I don't know how to order on line. Thank you for your help and congratulations on a beautiful flag. My husband and I serve at the Conference Center in Salt Lake every Monday afternoon and I have thought for a couple of years that what the world need NOW is a Moroni. How neat it is to see that even though we don't have Moroni, we have his Title of Liberty. Congratulations again. MarLeah Hailstone Dustin Davies...Hello, It is great to see you willing to not back down to the pressures of this world and take a stand in expressing what is true and sacred to you and all of us. I am a member in Las Vegas and see daily how far people have turned away from these things that matter most. As I watched conference this weekend I realized how much our values are under attack and I don't let it be known to enough people what matters most to me. Automatically the Title of Liberty came to mind. I was looking for something more along the lines of just white vinyl lettering that could be placed on my car window, I don't know if you have considered anything along those lines, I like the bumper stickers but personally have never been a fan of placing things on the paint or bumpers of my cars as they are harder and messier when taking off if I were to ever sell a vehicle. If you would cosider something along these lines I would buy it in a heartbeat, but that is just somewhat of a wish list item. With that said I love what you have done. Sincerely, Tamara Munn...I love this flag! I am a volunteer early morning seminary teacher. I was purchasing the budget flag for a seminary display, then decided I wanted to buy 15 bumper stickers for my seminary students. Garth Norman ...Good Job! My impression upon seeing your add was exactly the same as your original inspiration. Best wishes for its success. A cheaper version for use with the LDS Boy Scout US flag fund raising project could help launch your mission. --Success Dan Hampton ...Thank you for your quick reply and for your generosity in giving me these bumper stickers. In the last few months (since September 2008), I have felt a real need for my family to prepare for difficult times ahead. We're doing everything we can to get out of debt, prepare to buy a home, gather more food storage, do our family history work, etc. I believe in the words that I often heard during my childhood: the best time to prepare (or to act) is NOW! I can tell you were inspired to start your business venture. I hope it does well and is successful in many ways for you and your family. Jenneth and I look forward to getting those stickers which surely will help us remember to do what is right as we raise our now 5-month-old daughter Annika. Thanks for all that you've done thus far. I pray that 2009 is a year full of joy, love, prosperity and personal growth for you!!!!!!!! God bless you and all of your loved ones. |
